400 Meters Full HD HDMI HDCP 720p 1080p Over LAN Extender Kit 328 Feet
Extends
HDMI Signal over Lan up to 400 meters using CAT5/RJ45 cable.
Unlimited displays are possible with the addition of a LAN hub/switch and HDE-R receiver
modules.
Embedded infra-red (IR) control path allows user to control HDMI sources remotely.
Includes HDMI transmitter & receiver modules, IR transmitter & receiver, and power
adapters.
(Local Connectors: HDMI/RJ45 Female and Remote Connectors: HDMI/RJ45 Female)
The HDE-K kit includes TX & RX modules. When connected point-to-point (TX to RX),
maximum distance is 400 Meters. But once you add a Ethernet switch/hub, you can
effectively double its distance and they can also add more displays into the system. It
also comes with IR that allows control of the source device.
Please note that even though it is
running on Ethernet technology, the TX and RX do not get assigned any IP address. Once
running, the TX will keep on broadcasting and the RX will keep on receiving and buffered
the audio/video for projection into the connected HDMI displays. In order to run 1080p
with audio, it uses up to 80% of available Ethernet bandwidth. This is why either it runs
on its own dedicated wiring, or on a segmented/isolated network.
NOTE: This Item is sold as a Kit one
Transmitter and one Receiver
additional receivers
sold under Item # HDE-R you only need one Transmitter with multiple receivers
