Hobbes 256003 Lan Smart TDR is a high Tech multifunctional network cable tester. The LANSmart will detect wiring connections like open, short, miss-wired and split pairs and its best feature the ability to measure the cable length using TDR (Time Domain Reflectometers) technology in real time! This Ethernet network tester will test all twisted pairs of category 3, category 4, category 5, category 5e and category 6 cables and display the results in a pin to pin format. The unit when a open or short is found in the cable the LANSmart will locate, detect and display the faults in addition this multifunctional tester will send out audio signals to help find the corresponding cables and users can also send out auto negotiation signals to find out the corresponding hub or switch ports! This LANSmart functionality and versatility makes this an All in One tester suitable for all professional installers and technicians as its ergonomic, easy to operate and compact design.
